Besides being the brain behind Got2GoNYC, Theodora Siegel, who goes by Teddy, is a performer, storyteller and activist based in NYC.

Teddy's performance credits include opera, concert works, musical theater and dance. She graduated with her Master’s of Music from Mannes School of Music in June 2023 and completed her Bachelor of Music from the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. Learn more about Teddy's performance experience and endeavors
here.

Using her platform to advocate for DEI, Teddy documents 'bathroom stories' of hardships faced by fellow New Yorkers & tourists. Read these testimonials on her blog.  Teddy is also a consultant and freelance writer whose work has been published in The New York Times and Gothamist

In addition to solving NYC's restroom crisis, Teddy is also dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding bathroom usage & access. She hosted her first Got2Go event this past summer at Society of Illustrators. 'Salon in the John' was a sketch night where NYC based artists as well as members of the Got2GoNYC community came together to sketch clothed models posing on a toilet. The event was sold out and a huge success! Stay tuned for more fun and quirky 'bathroom themed events’ that Teddy will be bringing to NYC in the coming year.
